BRIEF HISTORY

Frisco was formed in February of 1902, with the rich soil, convenient railway transportation, and water in the area bringing many people and resources to the town. The city spans across 69 miles and as of 2016 had a population of 163,000. Frisco is one of the most consistently growing cities in the North Dallas area, with many beautiful neighborhoods and no lack of activities in the area.

NEIGHBORHOODS

Frisco is home to a large amount of communities, and still growing. Some of these neighborhoods include Newman Village, Starwood, Chapel Creek, Stonebriar, The Trails of Frisco, Panther Creek, Christie Ranch, Shaddock Creek, Cypress Creek, Hollyhock, Lakes on Legacy Drive, Park Place, and Prairie View.

SCHOOLS

Frisco is one of the largest ISDs in North Dallas, with 42 elementary schools, 17 middle schools, and 10 high schools.

AMENITIES

Frisco is full of places to go and things to see, including extensive shopping at Stonebriar mall and the surrounding 121/Preston area, Dallas North Tollway/Main, as well as shopping, dining, and old time vibes in Downtown Frisco. Trails, parks, and sports complexes are scattered through the city as well, such as Shawnee Trail, Central Park, Frisco Athletic Center, Warren Sports Complex, and many more.
