BRIEF HISTORY
Little Elm was established in 1884 by Kit King alongside Little Elm Creek. Little Elm was a tiny community of under 200 until new roads provided better access between Dallas and Denton in the 1950s. By 2000, Little Elm had 127 businesses and nearly 3,600 people.
NEIGHBORHOODS
Some of the many communities in Little Elm include Wildridge, Arbor Creek, Paloma Creek, Lakewood Estates, and Frisco Hills.
SCHOOLS
Little Elm has five elementary schools (Brent, Chavez, Hackberry, Lakeview, and Oak Point), along with one middle school (Lakeside Middle School) and one high school (Little Elm High School).

With Lake Lewisville calling part of its banks home in Little Elm, there are plenty of outdoor activities available, some of them being Little Elm Park, Lakefront Trail, Cottonwood Nature Trail, and many more.
